This lady once presented an art programme on TV and was on Desert Island Discs this morning. She lives in a caravan in a closed order, but somehow manages to get and about as a celebrity nun.
I found it interesting that she had a nervous breakdown when teaching in her native South Africa and said that she was so relieved to receive a letter from her superiors saying that she could give up teaching and have a life of prayer instead.
Seems a rather selfish life to me - rather like the ultra-orthodox in Israel who set the political agenda and have much influence in everyday life, but don't join the army, instead they are exempt because they pray all day.
What are you reading at the moment?
Is there a toiletry you can no longer buy and miss?

. Given that I'm having a rubbish time at work at the moment you've given me an idea
. Might phone in and say I'm not coming in due to stress but I'll pray for everyone!
