Ariadne are you sure it's arthritis and not gout? If its hot red swollen and very painful it could be gout!
Treatment is roughly the same in acute attack anyway but long term management is different.

9am delivery of my new crockpot ( which I can't unpack as its too bulky)

10am post with packets of tribunal files, too big to go through letter box!

12 gave up and got up and dressed!

I have now tidied the kitchen after the large meal I cooked last night! Beans on toast. Put a load of undies in to soak as washihing machine is still defunct and I don't fancy going commando this weather?

She also had NEW WELLIES today and won't be parted from them
She's just having her bath still clasping her wellies
As DD co sleeps I wonder how she'll do with WELLIES in the bed

Jess M I'm feeling much better Yes I did enjoy the concert it was amazing Fab-u-lous .Anda Union a gp of 10 young musicians from Mongolia.-in traditional costumes with unusual instruments and out of this world throat singing.
Tonight they are at the Purcell Room in London, that is the last concert on their cuurent UK tour.

galen, that sory reminds me of when GS had a new raincoat. He insisted on wearing it even when it was sunny. DD tried to persuade him to wear something else but gave up when he declared: "I love dat one!"

I had an unexpected visit from my son and his lovely girlfriend, as they live over 80 miles away we see them once a month or so. Had a great catch up over dinner

When GD1 was tiny we took her to buy wellies, when she got home she insisted on wearing them. Just out of nappies, she had an accident and weed in her wellies. Gave a whole new meaning to fill your boots

When DS2 was in the school football team (and leading goal scorer!!) he would go to bed on Friday nights wearing all his football kit, including boots and pads, just in case he overslept!

I did that with honey, Bags......hot spoon, jar at the ready, scoop with right hand and fling it across the kitchen with left elbow! Caught the dog in the process

Don't need lessons, Bags I've studied that closely for years, and passed all the exams.

When I was a child in married army quarters, a young officer, newly married, was billetted with us until a house was available for them. His favourite snack was bread and chocolate spread, but he was quite unable to spread it without getting himself, the table and the floor all sticky. His doting wife would spread it for him and all but feed it to him. However, he seemed able to spread golden syrup OK. None of us could understand it.

Maybe the choc spread routine was a private fetish.

Found my flour spilling technique is up to scratch as well. The biscuits are good though. DD took three. I said: "Three!? ". She said: "I need to eat three to be sure." atagirl! [
