Why is it that anything that falls or is dropped in the kitchen always ends up in the cat's food or water bowl! Admittedly it is a small room, but really!
What are your experiences of this law?

Feeding the cats while getting our dinner ready I just managed to drop one cat's highly expensive thyroid pills all over the kitchen floor! You would not believe how far tiny pills can bounce! Managed to collect them all up (luckily they are bright pink) gave the cats their dinner, and when I turned back there were another 8 pills in the middle of the floor - how????

Someone will call to see you on the one morning when you did not get up at 7 a.m. and get bathed/dressed/tidied up. Applies espcially when your house is on the market.
Airtraffic controllers will choose the first day of your holiday to go on a one day strike.
Contact lens will resist all attempts to find it, , even going over entire carpet with your hands, but will turn up later completely dried out.
Baby will fill nappy when zipped into all-in-one suit.
Your company will offer redundancy package the month after you give in your notice.

Most of these no longer bother me, but they have all happened to family/friends.
