Visit Montmartre, Sacre Coeur, have a late lunch, and remember the late Mr.G who died a year ago today. It's pouring with rain so we may treat ourselves to a taxi - I'm sure he would have approved!

Drive to Hampshire for DGS3's birthday party. DH joining us on his way back from a conference in the Midlands. We'll stay overnight and come back tomorrow; at least the son has gone!

It was my birthday on Wednesday so I'm going to my daughter this morning and then we are leaving her husband to look after the children while we go to see Les Miz. After that having supper her and the family. Lovely.

Gally . You are an amazing lady. Hope your "remembering" day is comforting and you get through it ok.

I am going to Tesco to collect the grocery delivery they could not deliver due to extreme weather, then I will have to see what exciting things I can get up to.

Well, here I am watching daytime TV at 9.30 in the morning. How decadent is that? But Andy needs me so no sacrifice is too great!

Recover from entertaining DS's friends and relations. There was a certain amount of sleep deprivation involved. The remains of the party have gone out somewhere - possibly in search of a hangover relieving cooked breakfast. Probably not a run.
High moment was giggling along with my niece who is an entertaining drunk. Low moment was when they managed to turn on the music system in our bedroom just as we were dozing off at about 1.30 ... (Radio technology has its down side). About an hour and a half later we were still awake and contemplating a blast of house-wide Meatloaf at about 5 am. But after all DS has been through it is nice to see him having some fun.

Watching Andy, then going to cycle down to the seafront to watch the waves battering the Iron Men. Have a great day, everyone!
