When tidying my house I always find...

Lego usually when I stand on it in my bare feet.

Something I was looking for six weeks ago!

Pens and pencils, they get everywhere.

Please explain 'tidying'

Chuckle, kitty. I've used the term rather loosely, I have to admit. Packing for a journey tomorrow means moving some things around in order to find pit the right things in wash bags and suitcases and what not. Elastic bands started appearing.

Tidying in my house means moving things from one room to another and leaving them there until that room needs tidying so I move them back again.

after the DGC went home after our Chinese new year lunch on Sunday I went to close the curtains. On the floor, in the corner behind the curtain I found 1 satsuma, 1 satsuma peel and the bowl of leftover sweet and sour vegetables! I have no idea what the game was the kiddies were playing...but am glad I found the food when I did!

...all the things that my OH says he put away! What he really means is put down absent-mindedly.

Generally I find something I was desperately searching for six weeks previously and have since replaced. Of course it might help if I tidied more often!

Often bits of paper with useful things on; that I can never quite decide where to put so that I can find them when I need them.

Don't understand the expression either kitty I think it is one of those things people do when they are bored

I just sometimes come across things DH has put in a pile somewhere to put away 'somtime' . Usually all the stuff I have given him previously to put away.

Why did I start??????????

Spread over my kitchen floor and tops are lots of things I thought I'd thrown aways, lots of things I should have thrown away and a few useful things. The problem is now that I have to put stuff back.

I belong to the Merlot school of tidying.
Altho' why am I always left with a few things with no 'homes to go to' when I do get to the final room?
So I suppose the answer to the question is: lots of bits and bobs!

We are expecting DD, DSil and DGD tomorrow, they are staying for a few days so I have been getting the rooms ready.
This morning DH found an unwashed baby bottle under the cot
It must have been there since last summer which was the last time the DGDs were here

My mobile phone! I wasn't exactly tidying - moving an armchair to put it back firmly on a rug that keeps creeping towards the fireplace. My very small flat is beyond tidying, she said hoping to convince herself.
