I have wondered if DH has seen what I post or knows my username. I think he would recognise himself as referred to by me!

Do I care about that not much. A bit worried about other relatives though but its a long shot.

I'm sure I've been on one before when you wrote your username yourself when you posted....rather than it being in bold at the bottom of the page.

When my children are here with their bf s there are 3 I pads hanging about. The other day I picked up my daughters by mistake . Personally I do care if my daughters read what I write on here. us and wouldn't have a clue !!!

I was talking about another forum JO 8. And of course I know you have the user name adjacent to the post when it shows up . I mean the name above the message box which is always there whether you want to
post or not.

Yes - that is a bit of a clue! I'm with you now, agapanthus. Just have to make sure you don't leave your PC on the Gransnet page - I always go back to my Home page if I'm going to be away for a while.

If you log out your user name goes away.

I never log out - but all my family know my user name anyway. They all tease me a little about my GN 'habit', but in a nice sort of way.
