Well, I had to arrange everything as I was in charge of Bob's cocker and the other two.

It was indeed! The cocker wouldn't jump so I had to lift it. That was ok on the way there but of course on the way back it was plastered with mud.

Yes, cocker-jump reluctance is a well-known problem in dogging circles...

..Oh well...perhaps it was reluctant to get 'dirty' and that's why you had to lift it...

We got it clean in the end though by enticing it into the water with a stick.

That was a relief, I can tell you!

Anyway, after all that excitement and exertion, not to mention the leek and potato soup, and the slight incident with the kitchen roll and a bottle of Flash, I'm pretty worn out, as you can no doubt imagine, so it's off to bed for me.
