Can we leave Margaret Thatcher in peace for a wee while, please?

Gally Is your daughter really Georgiana? I think it's a wonderful name.
Quite a possibility too, as the Georgiana was an ancestor of the baby's paternal grandmother.
Odd to think of Diana as a Grandma confused.
Royal babies always have at least four names, so plenty of scope for both tradition and modernity.
I don't suppose when Princess Anne named her daughter, she imagined that one day the baby would share her name with a low-end clothing chain grin

Galen I think Prince Arthur's death remains a mystery. King John was accused of stabbing him and chucking him in the Seine but there is no evidence that he did.

As for the later Arthur – how different English history would have been had he survived and married Catherine of Aragon.

I thought he did marry Henry? That was the grounds he was using for divorce. Arthur came down from his bridal bed saying 'tonight I have been in spain'

Arthur did marry Catherine which is why Henry could claim that he wasn't legally married to her.

Sorry – meant had a married life and had children together – maybe even a son.
