My heart goes out to the people in Boston and I hope your families or friends weren't there at the Marathon.

Thinking of all the lives that were changed forever in those few moments yesterday. sad
So glad I didn't know beforehand - my sister was there. She's very shaken, but physically okay.

I remember just missing the IRA bomb in Hyde park, very unnerving. An American who I knew said she could understand why London was being bombed as we had been horrible to the Irish! No one should be put through this any where in the World.

absent of course killing all people is wrong. I somehow care more about innocent children. If that is a fault, then it lies with me.

Heard on the news , the FBI are discounting any further bombings .

That is good news for the Citizens of Boston.

It sounds as if one of the suspects has been killed by the police, FBI or Homeland Security all of whom have been involved in this massive "invasion" of Cambridge and its environs.

One dead. The other armed and dangerous.

I hope they get the second on alive. The world needs to know why?!

They think the suspects are from near Chechnya.

My daughter-in-law is an RN in Boston and she has had to go into work, she was happy to do so, and the hospital is surrounded by police. Our son can't get to work as the networks are all closed. Fortunately there is the internet!! Friends and family keep phoning to ask if the family are safe, which is so kind of them.

How young can can ever do this to another man, woman or child we'll never know. My heart breaks for all those families involved and the people who live in Boston.
