In two hours we will have this horse race. It worries me every year. Last year a horse had a heart attack and died right after the race. They claimed it could of happen at any time and wasn't because of the race. Yeah, right! They can break their legs,I just can't watch! It has been raining a lot this past week which doesn't help the track. They brought a horse over from
England named Molotof.Keep your fingers crossed no horse gets hurt.Im too much a softy when it comes to animals.

do you get Sirius radio? Might be on that.

No; you have to be a subscrber. I use Horse racing Racing Radio or Radio Sport 927 [which gets the Australian racing and talks about 'precipitation' and 'barrier draws' and makes me want to jump on a plane and get to Melbourne].

Link wouldn't work, but no disasters this year. Beautiful statue of Arcadius though [will try to find another link].

I like the statue, didn't know about it. I saw the Man Of War statue once when I was young. I was impresssed.Your interest in racing is catching.

Amazing place, the internet. I was explaining to the S.O. last night how brilliant it is to want to find out something and straight away you can call on someone from the other side of the world to answer your question. The American lady said they're mostly flat breds as there's not much jumps racing in America so most of the horses come from the flat, but that a few jumpers make their way over from here [like Moltof]. When we go to Cheltenham the first thing we do is touch the statue of Arkle for luck.

Arkle the horse! I think it makes you more interested in learning when any question can be answered so fast! The world at your fingertips and friends also!
