A unusual plea for help please!!!
For several years DH and I have supported a family in Moldova through the charity CR2EE. Basically we sponsor them financially by monthly direct debit and then send boxes of food, clothing and individual presents out on the Christmas lorry. Through the charity we have received updates on the family's progress etc.
This morning in the post we were delighted to receive our very first personal letter! The eldest daughter, aged 14 years , has written us a lovely letter and included some photographs.
The problem is that the letter is in Moldovan and my knowledge of the language is somewhat nil
I have emailed our CR2EE contact asking if there is someone who could translate for us - they must have Moldovan speakers for when they take the lorries out but they may be based out there.
Knowing what a knowledgeable lot us Gransnetters are I am wondering if there is anyone out there who may be able to help?
