Morning, looks like we may have some sunshine today in London, do some gardening.

PRINTMISS Sun 26-May-13 08:14:09

Lovely morning here on the coast, glad to be home after a day in Horsham, a bit hectic there, after the slow pace we have here. Like you Grannyknot gardening this morning, and later son coming to lunch. Enjoy your day.

Starting to plan a barbecue (with plan B just in case)

Another beautiful morning here on the North East coast. Finally finished my daughters garden last nigt and it looks amazing (if I say so myself). Time to catch up on my own I think. Hope it's sunny wherever you are. smile

Glorious sunshine and wall-to-wall blue sky in NE Cheshire. One problem - my trees have grown so big that I have too much shade in my garden.

Another beautiful day here in Manchester, and it's not often I get to say that! Hope everyone has a lovely day. smile

Hi everyone. sorry I have not been on recently - had health problems again, fell and hurt my leg, having difficulty with everything.....anyway had a good day yesterday taking my sister out for her birthday!
Budget didn't allow for much, so we took her for a picnic at Wittenham Clumps. Lovely day, a change after the day before!
We took a kite that I have never flown, and managed to get it up even though there wasn't really enough wind. A good day had by all including my 12 year old grandson who hadn't flown a kite before!

Good morning from a so far sunny Wales - not too windy either at the moment. We are off to a family meal this afternoon to celebrate DH's son's birthday.

Alie, I was beginning to wonder if you were OK. Sorry to hear about your accident. You really didn't need that. I'll try to see you sometime soon. DS2 is doing a triathlon(!) at Blenheim in a few weeks and I hope to be able to witness this event. grin

AlieOxon Sun 26-May-13 11:20:59

Hi anno.
You will find me with a stick. 'Nuf said. Going for an urgent (?) scan in a week or two.....

Triathlon? Whew! good luck to him. Hope to see you, then.

Thanks Galen..........I'm managing. Thanks to some helpful people.

The old git next door was in a shouting match with another neighbour and his wife yesterday. He even accused me of being selfish because I live in a four bedroomed house on my own!
I own it! I paid for it! I still works! I employ other people?
Grrrrrrrr!angry

Butty Sun 26-May-13 11:51:53

Alie - Ahh - kite flying. What could be nicer! smile

Hope your leg gets better soon.

AlieOxon Sun 26-May-13 12:01:10

Thanks Butty. GPs don't seem to know what I've done.....

Galen I have space too....I need it. I could have a lodger to help if necessary.... I begin to feel that discrimination is going on?

Galen Sun 26-May-13 12:12:45

He's always sounding his mouth off at other people , then gets surprised that people get upset with him. He doesn't realise how offensive he is!
If it hadn't been going on for at least 35years I would say he was suffering from senile dementia!
His wife tells him he's rude and offensive but he doesn't listen!

A stunning day in sunny, bonnie Kintyre. Interesting cloud formations. A rippled sea. Noisy birdsong. A lazy cat. An afternoon invitation to raise a glass of cheer with good friends. grin

Will attempt to add the image of yesterday's low-lying mist over the sea and at the foot of the Paps of Jura.

soop Sun 26-May-13 13:14:23

Sorry. Upload of pic still not possible.

Sunny here in Polperro, but a cold wind and really chilly in the shade. Just walked to Porthallow and back along the SW Coast Path and am now back at the hotel in a state of near exhaustion. Half way along the path is the local war memorial and a stone bench with fantastic views out to sea - we sat for a moment, remembering, shed a tear for our son in law and then carried on.

whenim64 Sun 26-May-13 14:18:52

ga flowers Enjoy Polperro - a lovely place to stay smile

It's glorious here again in Northumberland. DH went for a bike ride this morning whilst I went to church and then we have been for a drive in my car (with the roof down - I even caught the sun!). We decided to go inland and the roads weren't busy at all; the scenery was lovely, with quite spectacular views in some places. Home now so that DH can watch the Monaco GP.

glassortwo Sun 26-May-13 17:32:04

We have had two glorious days in Northumberland, spent them up at the house and even sat outside for our lunch, which didnt happen that often last year. sunshine

Beautiful day here in Boston, marred only by kids on the estate next door throwing gravel over at our windows and into the yard. We`ve given up remonstrating withy them, it just makes them worse, they sit on top of the dividing wall and stare into the house, pulling faces and shouting out.
