Good morning everyone, cool breeze here at the moment, off to the shops before it gets too hot. Enjoy your days.

Morning all, covering up to pick blackcurrants, you never know what might lurk in those bushes smile

Nelliemoser Sat 20-Jul-13 08:23:03

Its a glorious 19C here. For the moment! Until the sun gets above the trees and the clouds burn off!

kittylester Sat 20-Jul-13 08:30:01

We are set for a less hot one today and it is already bright and sunny. Family BBQ later so hope it isn't too hot.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Saturday everyone, it seems slightly cooler here at the moment, fingers crossed!
It's the Artisan market today, which means hundreds more people fighting their way around Wilmslow.

Good morning everyone. I actually had a lie in until 8 am this morning. It's very pleasant with a light breeze at the moment.

Ella I have noticed Artisan markets popping up round and about Cheshire. Isn't Paul Hollywood described as an Artisan Baker?

Off to catch up with sons now grin

Have a good day all.

Hot and sunny here in Manc, after another torrid night. It's like being in a Tennessee Williams play! Off to London later for a weekend meet up with friends, and then an overnight stay on Sunday with my DD. Not looking forward to the tube.

Our Artisan market is 2yrs old this week, and it has become tremendously successful and brought a lot of trade.

We have artisan butchers, bread makers etc. you name it! grin Just a posh way of charging very high prices!

Nonu Sat 20-Jul-13 09:56:02

Good morning all, enjoying this sunshine which has been gifted on us !

whenim64 Sat 20-Jul-13 10:05:07

My nephew and family will be there, Ella. He has befriended an artisan baker at the market who gives him yeast and sourdough starters, then sends him off with a load of bread and tips about making his own.

Morning all from south Warwickshire ... a little cooler here so more comfortable now ....we just have French, Italian and German Sunday markets where you get served by English spoken traders and pay more than in local shops.

Roll on Artisan but I doubt town is big enough for that one .... I wish

We got back last night from a glorious week in Norfolk. All the holiday washing done, just gone to hang it out and is grey and spitting with rain !!!
Hope it improves tomorrow. We were planning to go to local outdoors jazz performance.

I am only twelve miles from gillybob so same weather applies, surprised to see pools on the patio this morning. Going inland for lunch today so it may be brighter, Duke of Wellington at Stocksfield, hopefully.

Nonu Sat 20-Jul-13 10:25:15

OOps , spoke too soon , has just started to spit with rain , still the garden needs it .

Brendawymms Sat 20-Jul-13 10:28:18

Grey and breezy in East Sussex and you need a cardigan.

Nelliemoser Sat 20-Jul-13 11:04:24

Someone tell tell me where they are in Cheshire. I know Rode Hall in the south east of Cheshire has a monthly farmers market which seems to cover a lot of artisan food products. One of them had the most fantastic Indian food products all looking very attractive. I am very much in favour of these as you get far more original products than you can see in the shops.

The sun has deserted my bit of Brum - and on my 64th birthday too! When I get older, losing my hair many years from now........... smile

A late good morning fron me -- very hot here again - had a busy day yesterday but the visitors arrived safely - I am having a quiet day today as said visitors have gone off to a wedding.
Enjoy the sun everyone.

I am in West Cheshire and the weather is just right for me, bright with a little cloud cover, not hot but not cold. Nice. I was up at 0315 this morning (couldn't sleep - again!) and came down to get a chicken fillet out of the freezer in the garage to defrost for lunch today and it was a sultry night outside. Took a sleeping pill and dozed until 7:15 so all in all a good nights sleep for me.

Nonu Sat 20-Jul-13 11:56:51

Happy Birthday , KATYK .

Any special plans ?????
