HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Thank you everyone - that was most unexpected. Have had friends round - been out to a cafe for coffee and met friends and the DH took me out to lunch. So all good so far. DH is NOT a forward planner so had decided to take me to a shop to choose one of these pieces of rock with crystal/stones inside as often admired them - got to said shop and it was closed today!!! will not spoil the day anyway - past all that.

Thank you so much. How lovely it is to receive so many messages. I'm having a very peaceful birthday together with lots of phone calls from family. Was house sitting for a friend this morning. Will have a treat of fish, chips and mushy peas tomorrow. Bags wish you lived closer. HAPPY birthday, Bez and all gransnetters who are one year more mature on this auspicious occasion.

ga Stumbled and fell headlong on to a concrete slab. Huge pain and shock at the time. Now feeling very much better and am pain free. I was lucky not to have fractured my skull.
