Failing to find my passport (holiday imminent) pales into insignificance Soop. I did find it today! I had looked thro all my handbags except the one that was lurking in my 'posh' wardrobe. As I don't do posh very often these days, it was the last place I looked. (For posh read Previously Owned by Someone/ Sale items)

soop I have often found in the recent past that sometimes disappointments turn out to be blessings in disguise. I have seen photos of your cottage and you are in a beautiful spot in the world.

It's a beautiful Saturday morning here and I was in a dead sleep, D2 was knocking on my door to see if I wanted to go to town with her this morning. GD 21 months had lost her dolly, it went missing on Thursday night and now she was crying for her baybee. Yesterday while babysitting I thoroughly searched the house pulling furniture around. D1 said they had also searched thoroughly the night before. Five minutes later she was back, baybee had been found, under the shelf in a toy kitchen, where I had looked the day before.

We will still go to town and try and try to buy another and put it away, just in case. We get nervous that she will lose it, because she insists on taking it everywhere with her, tucked under her arm.

Hallo to those who pop in this morning. I have brought some shortbread biscuits only had to use semolina rather than ground rice - everyone must be baking shortbread because all the local supermarkets were empty of ground rice. Anyway, what I have come up with is okay but not quite the same sorry.

Sounds like a good plan for the day Faye but be warned your DGC will be able to tell the difference, mine always could. Perhaps you could swop them around so the doll gets that same 'much loved' feel?

We have friends coming around for a meal this evening. It is a long time since we last socialised so a busy day ahead in preparation. Enjoy yourselves.

Things look nice and tidy after the pizza blowout last night someone must have stayed on and tidied up for soop how thoughtful,Rory has the distinct aroma of pepperoni coming from him but he looks quite content
