Thanks ladies!I still keep thinking I'm on holiday 
. I had to get up early this morning as it was a 'take granny to pre school' day. It was odd yesterday realising that I'd gone all day without talking to anyone and kept thinking that, without the internet [and gransnet in particular] I would be very isolated at times. When it's the school holidays I can have my grandson here for the day as well and we can go into town using my bus pass! Although I went with the younger grandson today to have his flu 'jab' [well, it was up his nose] and realised why the S.O. is always finding excuses to go into the chain of shops that he used to work for [I thought he was being silly]. Me, I now have to find excuses to go to the doctors . But it was so odd today being there on the other side of the counter, and my son phoned up yesterday wanting to know about holiday vaccinations and I couldn't really help him

I hope you will now find that instead of "living to work", you can work at living!! And I am sure Hattie will enjoy having Mum at home more - just think of all the time you can spend on Gransnet now!!!
