Just a reminder - something most people can do:

You don't have to mention your own life on gransnet - just say that she is a friend (or a friend of a friend).

Wish there was more I could do, I can't settle to anything, keep coming back to see if there is any news. No doubt we all feel the same.

Now the police have finally mounted a search I suppose there is nothing more we can do but wait.

I have at last got onto the Anglo info website to post. I posted in the car and driving working on the premise that the people who read that notice cars and may well be out and about. I referred them to the Facebook page as I can't copy on the ipad.

Thanks to everyone and carol's friends on gransnet the french media have picked up the story.

There is so much happening now, and so much involvement - surely soon she will be found....?

I have had her on my mind all day, please let her be found soon..

I keep coming back here, hoping . . . and thinking of her family.

I am stunned and there is nothing I can add to everything that has been said. My love, thoughts and prayers are for Carol and her family and as has already been said by so many, please let her be found soon safe and well.

I've been ill in bed for three days and keep compulsively coming back to GN hoping for news. Carol's family are showing themselves to be just as wonderful as Greatnan always described, but my heart goes out to them all at this time.

Daisy , you and me both, I just can't keep away. I can hear Mr P sound asleep in our bedroom, but here I am in the office checking every five minutes or so.

Wish I had an ipad, tablet or whatever, surely it would make keeping up to date easier, however stuck with a desktop.

phoenix I've been taking my iPad to bed and checking it through the night. Whatever good the Boots No 7 serum was doing my complexion has been ruined by the bloody great big bags under my eyes!

when - you've been a great support in liaising with Greatnan's family, the media, FB etc. - as well as keeping us informed here on GN and I'm sure I speak for many of us when I say how appreciative we are.
