Morning all, I've brought some full fat Greek yoghurt, honey and walnuts from my brother's neighbour's magnificent tree (in France). Shelled them this morning.

I've been at DDs house all weekend looking after the little ones who were a complete joy. Got home about 9 last night totally exhausted though.

Today I'm going to visit a boarding kennel who may take my dog next year while MrB & I go on a long holiday. Here's hoping dog & I like the place.

Early visit to the kitchen this am,have been up and about since about 4.30am just can't sleep so I think it is time for a nice piece of warm toast speard with butter seemingly the kitchen is a calorie free zone.

Some tea and toast for me, too, please. A day of looking after grandchildren today - two year olds this morning, and school run this afternoon. Lovely distractions from all this worry because we have no news. Lots more butter is fine with me - when you feel helpless, comfort eat!!

I'm popping in for some company and distraction. I've brought some tea cakes and fruit loaf, to toast and slather in butter.

Just dropped in to see if there was any news. Honeyball has done a grand job I think.
I am off to Ninewells Hospital this morning with DH but shall pop in again if I can get internet connection whilst there.
I still have some cardamom shortbread if anyone feels like some.

I could hug Honeyball very tightly for giving us that on the spot information. Just what we needed, being so far away from the search.

Can we have a recipe for cardamon shortie please? It sound amazing. Honeyball has certainly given us an accurate idea of conditions in Haute-Savoie. So wish I had something helpful to add, but so hard. Sorry - I need whenim's boot up the jacksie and more PMA. Coffee might help.

Hope you don't mind me sloping into a corner with my quilt and still wearing my p.j.'s. I decided that one more morning in bed will see me right - and was tempted here by the promise of cardamom shortbread. Well I have to take my antibiotics with food - that's my excuse. [naughty ]

Wow! Have been feeding our friends' birds and walking in the sunshine. Now that I'm home, I need to catch up with you lot. Goodness me, haven't you all been busy. Mr soop remains all aglow - thanks to the unending female attention, his grin gets wider by the moment. Have just had to go through yet more messages from his ladies...

I've enjoyed reading all your messages. It appears that some of you have some special treats in store. For my friends who have the snuffles or are feeling a tad tired, I'm preparing some vegetable broth. There is nutty bread to eat with it. Rory will share his blanket... since he underwent the snip, he's developed a kindly nature. He enjoys company. He may show his appreciation with plenty of deep-throated purrs.

I'm a bit dithery at the moment. It appears that there may be developments regarding our missing friend. If so, I cannot leave the forum.

I am just back from taking a friend's daughter's dog for a long walk along the coastal path and returned home hoping to find news of Carol. Strange how we can't settle properly to anything until we know. It was absolutely glorious looking across the Forth towards East Lothian and, despite the early morning frost, I got quite hot on the walk. My friend's daughter had triplets last Thursday. I feel quite faint thinking about what they have in prospect Luckily she will have a few weeks to recover her equilibrium before the babies are allowed home, although they were a good weight : 4.9 4.7 and 3.0. Vegetable broth and nutty bread sounds just the ticket after all that exercise.

Oh gally triplets are a handful, my friend had 3 boys they are 19 now but we all tried to help her out when we could, she didnt seem to have a minute when they were little.

Multi-families are a delight. Today, I've been minding my twin granddaughters, or should I say they've been minding me? This afternoon, it's twin grandsons and bedtime whilst mum works late. We were with all four the other day - pandemonium! Such good fun, though

I am very much on edge. Have realised that there is live tennis on television. I need to escape from the 'puter for a wee while. Cannot log off, though. Need to keep checking...just in case.

I'm supporting a Mum with triplets of 2 months at the moment...she's adamant she wants to only give them breast milk..it's hard work

Same here; difficult to concentrate on anything. Staying up all night to listen to the Melbourne Cup [big race 4 in the morning but I like all the chat on Australian radio; I pretend I'm there].

Badgers Ales Day at Wincanton on Saturday, Tegan, best day of the year. The OG and No.2 son are off to the Millenium Stadium so I shall have to go on my own!!!!!

OGM I used to attend Tai Chi classes in Dartmouth...about thirty years ago. A lovely form of relaxation. However, one needs to concentrate. A few steps in the wrong direction, and the session can become chaotic!
Iam64 me too. I cannot concentrate on the tennis match...a game that I enjoy.
