Good morning all. It sounds as though it is raining in Somerset. Will work up the energy to open the curtains soon.

Morning Mick, it's a very cold and frosty morning in south Lanarkshire, heralding another day of glorious sunshine I think.

Cold here. Sheepskin weskit on over dressing-gown, and long cashmere wristwarmers, thick thox, bauchles, and a mohair knee blanket.

And a hot drink.

Good morning to you all, cold, wet and decidedly dreary this morning, with not much hope of it getting better. This is when I am thankful for a warm bed, a roof over my head and food in the cupboard, sometimes taken for granted. Enjoy your days and ditto with the search gracesmum.

Oh dear, yesterday was so nice! I felt good and worked in the garden. My runner beans are down and dumped.

Now it is cold, damp and drippy...and I texted my builder, who was going to repair my gutters, that I couldn't afford his price. Answer - 'ok, no worries.' I reckoned he didn't want the job anyway and overpriced it.

Today I get bloods taken at the doctors. Sometimes I feel I want to keep my blood!

Good morning, it is grey and wet. Severe frost last night but it melted between three and four o'clock and it rained.

38 outside 51 inside.wet and dingy looking. Intended to go to Newcastle to do my C*******s shopping. Obviously going to have to do it on line as I chickened out.

Cheshire is grey still and rainy. 7degC

Cold and raining in NW London. It is supposed to brighten up later, we will see.

Good morning, pouring rain and cold and grey in Surrey. DH tells me that it is too warm to sit in the sun still in Portugal, it's probably waiting to rain until I get back.
Let's hope that today brings us good news.

A late good morning from me in Michigan - dry and looks as if it will be a bright day. Everyone at home today as local elections so we are planning a day trip somewhere - not sure where yet as this place is very laid back!! We are going to get our hire car today as well so we are I dependant when they are all working /school tomorrow.
I logged on with a mixture of dread and hope this morning - so sad no good news.

Still not having a great day, but one bright spot - told the nurse who took blood that I was trying to get some of their micropore tape, which is much better than anything I can buy - and she promptly gave me a roll.
(yes, I'm allergic to elastoplast.)
