I need help typing

I am so rubbish at typing, I use the two finger method. Until I bought a computer I had never used a keyboard. I did try the BBCs school programs ages ago, for very young children, but my fingers got all tangled up. I have tried, under instruction, over the phone to place my digits where they should go, but I do not seem to have enough to go every where. Can any one please advise because by the time I type my post, I am about twenty minutes behind everyone else blush

You are very kind but I really am a dummy and it is still as clear as mud. confused

I will ask my daughter to read your post and she will advise me. Thanks.

Pogs I struggle with the bit where you sort of give a name to the link that you would like to post, so I just highlight it in the bar at the top left hand side, then press the Ctrl key at the bottom left on your keyboard, and press the "C" key at the same time.

The put your cursor where you want to paste the link, then press the CTRL key again, but this time press the "V" key at the same time. (No, I don't know why it's V either, C for copy makes sense, so you would think it would be P for print, but no, it's V)

When you have done that, and a line of what looks like gobbledegook appears in black, like this: http://www.gransnet.com/forums/chat/1203942-I-need-help-typing?pg=2

scroll down a little bit and under the box where you have been typing your message you will see a little box with "Convert links automatically" next to it. Put your cursor in the box and click. That should then make the gobbledegook bit turn blue.
