Husband today was muttering about a woman we know who is in her mid-fifties, but is still very much a 'party animal' and generally behaves like a teenager. He said "She has three lovely daughters, she should be glad enough to find contentment in looking after her family, and if she wants excitement she can, you know, go on Gransnet like you!" grin

Jokes aside, I suspect he is very pleased of the times I happily browse the forums and leave him in peace to watch the footie (and updating him with edited versions from time to time!)

Thank you GN forum friends for the company.

Biker

Your Blackpool tale has reminded me of a funny thing that happened to me and a few friends in Mablethorpe.

We were sunbathing whilst two of the blokes were fishing off the sands. One of them shouted 'Hey look, there's a seal out there'. Naturally we all starting looking out to sea but we soon started laughing. It was his wax jacket which had 'blown' presumably with water. Cost him a small fortune as it had his car keys and mobile phone in the pockets.

pogs funny!

And you lot all make me laugh with the parties, I better get out of the kitchen (Soop's Kitchen) and into some of the bars! Maybe once I'm retired later this year wink At the moment I can barely keep up with the "normal life" threads LOL.

...and does anyone remember thatbags being found slumped slumbering on some dog or other, the morning after, by the cleaner? She thought that the dog was a furry rug. It was extremely good natured. The pub has since closed down. That particular party made front page in the Sun [I think!] [ wink

It is just great the best thing going! Out of interest I had a peep at "granny net" it seems very boring in comparison. |It's coming up to two years now ?May or June 2012. I joined a bit after DD announced she was pregnant.
