Good Morning Thursday

Dull and overcast but dry here in South Wales, so I'm not complaining. Quiet day for us UNTIL 3:30 when I have to fetch our grandson from school, give him some tea and generally keep him entertained until DIL finishes work around 7:30. Both our son and DIL work odd hours, and once every two weeks we have this "overlap" when they are both working in the afternoon.

Very dark here, trees are tossing and could that be sleet that I see falling? Not a day for venturing far!

It's brightened up here, but chilly.
Still haven't done the mending OR remembered what else I had to do!

Too busy reading and looking things up...see chat...

We've had a couple of burst of hailstones here and it feels quite wintry now.

Happy Birthday aka and . Glad all is well now eliza - is "hippo" your private nickname or was it the result of predictive keyboard? Either way it gave me a !!

Happy birthday Aka hope you enjoyed your birthday despite your cold.
