Although I am grandmother age, middle 50s, my children are 19 and 17, so is it ok for me to join in? I don't feel that the teething/school/tantrums stage of mumsnet is the right place! I have already commented on a couple of threads and love this forum, but just a double check......can I stay please?smile

Thank you, I thought it would be ok, but didnt want to be 'outed' as having no grandchildren! I love this forum, such good sense, good humour and good advice.wink

GillT57 we're a mixed bunch and there are several of us who still have teenagers at home. My (foster) sons are 17 and 18; others have younger teens and children. Welcome to Gransnet. smile

Hello and welcome Gill. It's the type of person, not the number of descendants, that matters here. Looking forward to seeing you around.

I'm 55 and holding! Stand on the springboard of life, hold your nose, and....................JUMP! (you'll either sink or swim, metaphorically speaking!)

By the way, you've given me an earworm! you're question "can I stay?" has started the "Oh won't you stay, just a little bit longer" song in my head!

My head can't cope with extra stuff! grin

Welcome - like you I tottered between mums and gransnet for a while. Gransnet is great - any forum that can list as many yummy ways to cook swedes as this one does gets my vote.
