Wakened to a clear blue sky. It has been clear all night but strangely, there is no frost. A change in the weather at last? [hopeful emoticon]
A lovely day in prospect to go walking in the Thames Valley, avoiding the river of course.
Happy 3rd birthday to my wonderful grandson you are the icing on the cake !
Good morning all!
It's a bright morning here in N.Leicestershire with a sunny day in prospect.
DS1is coming for lunch today!
He and DH are planning to listen to the 'match' on the radio so cue lots of noise and either despair or joy!!
My night was disturbed by lots of noise too as the couple living in one of the cottages opposite appeared to have had an argument, with him ending up on the outside trying to kick the door down to get back in, and much shouting of obscenities and slamming of car doors
I wish you all a quiet and peaceful day.
We have a lovely still(ish) morning here, and a clear blue sky. There was a fantastic sunset yesterday evening, just after what appeared to be the last shower of the day, and a full moon which usually means I sleep badly, but not last night! I think after being kept awake for a couple of nights with the heavy winds, a still night helped me have a restful sleep - I suspect the people who are living with their homes flooded would like the same, I just do not know how they are managing. Enjoy your days where you can.
Good morning all, the wind has dropped and the sun is out, family coming for dinner tonight. Its going to be a good day. Enjoy
Waking up in lovely Sherborne, Dorset where we have been for the last couple of nights to celebrate a friend's 60th, the weather outside is still and sunny, which is good because we are driving back to our neck of the woods today. Do hope the worst of the storms have now passed, especially for those that have been so badly affected.
Cloudless sky, frost on lawn. Going to play with bow and arrows then see DGDs!
Gods in His heaven
Alls right with the world!

Have a good day everyone. Pleased you are back with the bow and arrows Galen
It's also sunny and calm here. Will be helping my eldest daughter to move some of her belongings to our house today , her very long term relationship (27yrs) is over, she is coming to us for now its going to be a difficult day.
Just read your post KittyLester, had something similar when we arrived at our hotel Friday night, the 14th, couple came in about 2 in the morning, slamming doors and stomping around, why are some people so inconsiderate when they are in a hotel? This is an old 18th century house, so floors creak a bit, but I found out from the desk next day they woke a lot of the other guests, which wasn't surprising as the female half had a very loud tirade against her male counterpart, could catch a lot of effing and "you don't care about me", could only hear a male voice mumbling in response. My husband turned to me and said "well their Valentine's night went well!"
The sun has got his hat on hip hip hurrah, the sun has come out to play
. No wind either in East Sussex. Wonderful. Have a great day everyone. The bag is packed off on holiday tomorrow afternoon.
Beautiful day in Brum. Sunshine and no wind
The sun might be shining*Galen*. God might even be in his heaven. But all is not right with the world.
Sorry to shatter your illusions.
As you were folks.
Morning all. Oh err it's looks bright and sunny here in kent. No wind, no rain and it's not grey! Lovely grandsons still here. Now have 3 staying. Littlest didn't want to be left out. So lots of soft kisses ( the oldest two are too old for kissing) Think I had a compliment from the oldest one yesterday 12 who said "nanna you've got no wrinkles like my other nan. Perhaps it's because your a little chubbier! Don't you just love them!!
Kiora
Good morning , it's SUNNY and not windy! Hurrah!
Having a lazy slouch before visiting the Artisan market. Yesterday was a good day for my family, small positive steps are being made [fingers crossed emo]

Mum is a good person to turn too in those circumstances.
Surprisingly sunny here in South Wales. I've just had a text message from my son asking if we were planning to go out today and saying that our grandson was "available to be taken out if required". Guess he's in the doghouse for something
BAnanas there is often trouble from the people in that particular house which was bought by the council after they discovered what the 'lady' who lived there about 15 years ago was doing having so many 'gentlemen' callers.
It is a really small cottage, really only suitable for a couple, and there seem to be lots of couples with alcohol issues.
Just don't tell Mrs Bucket [my mum] as she thinks I live in a really salubrious area!
The curtains are still drawn - dare I go and hammer on the door and then run away?
The sun, the sun!!! I am whispering for fear of frightening it away!
Off to pub for lunch with two of my DDs and hubbies plus 3 GC. We have booked a table in the snug where they can rampage to their heart's content without disturbing other diners.
Good morning everyone and it's a bright and sunny day here too, doesn't it make a difference.
I've just caught up with DD1 and been reassured that they didn't suffer any damage on Friday night.
Galen you sound as if you have a lovely day ahead of you, enjoy yourself.
Have a good day everyone.
Good afternoon from a sunny north east. Wind howled all night but now it is just breezy. GD1 coming to stay tonight but just had a phone call to say don't collect until 5pm because they are all going out to run around and burn off some energy, hurrah
Kittylester thanks
