Good morning all. We are sitting at the airport waiting for our flight. Have bumped into three friends already! That's what comes of living on a small island. Have a great day everyonesmile

Looks ok here in the Thames Valley today.

Had a busy week here so far so I am relieved today I have nothing planned except catching up with horrid paperwork and a good dollop of the Olympics.

Hope you have a good day in Derby Mick and you have a safe flight Bellasnana.

Morning all!

Looks like another grey and overcast day in Leicestershire again today.

Today, it's a trip to sainsburys again and then to take DS1's cat to the vet to see whether his other testicle has descended. If it has, they will remove it. confused

Good morning - dull and drizzly here in France.

Gagagran Thu 20-Feb-14 08:50:43

Looks damp and drizzly here on the south-east Hampshire coast. Off to Southampton to see "War Horse" at the Mayflower Theatre this afternoon with WI chums. Really looking forward to seeing it but have been warned to take lots of tissues - it's a tear-jerker apparently.

Happy days to all!

Good morning all, YES! it is raining! Envy you your visit to the Mayflower Theatre Gagagran, wish we lived nearer. Whatever you are doing everyone, hope you have a good day.

Raindrops on the window but patches of blue sky - very mild.

Mild and sunny in south Devon, but heavy showers forecast.
Going out to lunch today with G.L.C. (Girls Lunch Club); we meet once a month, the youngest being 70 and the eldest 82. We do tend to giggle a lot. grin

Dog to the vet - lump on paw. Raining but very mild - have windows open and no heating - long may that last!!

Same as Devon. Just put massive wash on as I didn't have time last weekend.

Just about to face big shop with Her Maj. Could be a bumpy ride!

Good afternoon, sunny and bright but we have had torrential rain and gales. Woken at 6am by phone to tell us that car tracker was indicating that car had a problem, it was still on drive so went back to bed. DH went out later to check and he couldn't get in because there was absolutely no charge left in the battery. Car is 5 months old, nice man from Mercedes ha just arrived and will fix it. I am now waiting for the third thing as the heating went AWOL on Tuesday.

dog's paw been sorted - loads of grit - so vet froze it and squeezed out pus and grit now on antibiotics.

NanKate Thu 20-Feb-14 17:25:57

Glad you gave us an update on your dog's paw. Hope he recovers quickly and you do from paying the bill ! wink

Well not as bad as I feared £50 but enough - needless to say insurance excess £100

Tootled off to Melbourne to do some shopping and, blow me hit torrential rain when I got there. Why was I surprised I wonder? Two days of decent weather and I'm lulled into a false sense of security [funny thing is had torrential rain last time I went there as well]. Felt pretty pleased with myself as I had one of those plastic National Trust ponchos in the car....took it out of the bag and it disintegrated..plastic had shot it. I know I've had it for a couple of years but didn't expect that confused. Thankfully found an old raincoat in the back of the car [good job I never have a clear out, isn't it] so I got to the shops without being soaked.
