Grey and wet in North Leicestershire again but it looks as though it might brighten up later.

DH and I are meeting friends of his from university. We meet three or four times a year and have a really good time - unfortunately, our 'rules' say that if it's his friends - he can drink! I hope the filling I had yesterday holds up!

Grey skies here after a lovely day yesterday. I have a friend arriving today who is coming to stay for a long weekend, so I need to get in the kitchen this morning and do some food prep, hence the, for me, early start.

Good morning everyone, a bit wet here too, but a lovely day yesterday, and hopeful that it will brighten up. Not a happy bunny this morning, left the other half to his own devices yesterday morning and he decided to 'do something' on the computer, and I can now not print off anything. We are as ignorant as each other unfortunately, so I shall have to seek advice from the ever lovely son in law - fortunately he can take over the computer and work from his home. OH! sorry, that was not a moan first thing in the morning, just a hrmphhhhhhhh! Enjoy your days.

got someone coming to measure windows for new blinds, so must get a move on and a) have a shower and b) give the windows a quick once-over, though as the sun isn't out, the smears won't show.

I'm feeling very relaxed, in fact I nearly dozed off then! It doesn't bode well for the housework.

Now the big decision of the day - to the cinema, or not. There's nothing I really must see but several 'maybe' so ...

Blue sky now. I got the dining room windows wiped just in time. The man came to measure them on the dot of 9am.

Good morning, another sunny day

It was pouring here in West Sussex as we were about to take our two grandsons 1 and 3 to Nursery for the first time on our own !

We had also got one of them up and dressed and fed them both. We are feeling a bit proud of ourselves. Back off home to the Thames Valley now and over to the other grandparents.

Tired but happy to have helped. Will be back to our slower ways tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. Still dark here in SW Georgia. The weather here is quite strange with huge fluctuations in temperature from day to day. It rained all day yesterday but is supposed to be sunny today. As usual, I can't sleep. Dying for a but daren't start clattering about in case I wake everyone up.
