good morning , damp and cold here , not that I am bothered as off to Brum later to see Darling family , cannot wait have not seen them for 5 weeks !

Good morning. Bright, sunny and calm here at the moment. Got up at 4.30 with a raging headache - the result I think of a stressful couple of hours in the dentists chair yesterday. Think I'll go back to bed - headache has lifted and I'm feeling sleepy now!

We have a bright morning here, so I am making the most of it, since rain forecast for later today. Nothing very exciting happening, so going with the flow. Bright morning here. Phone call from sister in NZ. Planning to come over in three weeks. Will have to do a lot of housework pronto!

Morning all, beautiful morn here but hard frost. Good day for a nice long walk. XSIL coming to stay for the weekend, not really looking forward to that as I find him a bit demanding. Do any other GNs find having folk to stay a strain, or are we a couple of old fogies set in our ways.

I like visitors but love it when they go away - I think lots of us are like that. So saying, I am off tomorrow to o'night with my heavily pregnant daughter (and lovely ganddaughter) whilst her husband is away. Perhaps that mantra doesn't apply if the visitor performs a useful function?
We had heay rain overnight again but it's bright and sunny, if a bit cool, now. I can see the moisture evaporating off the fence in steamy clouds.
Was anyone lucky enough to se the Northern Lights? I heard the news item and went outside - it was a lovely starry night at that time but we are obviously too far South for such delights.

Miderable day and woken ub wid coad id by dose. Huh! Can't stay in bed taking DH to INR clinic in an hour and tomorrow to London for a liver MRI scan. Think I'll pressure cook some Jewish penicillin aka chicken soup for myself!

Hi all. Yeah, rain. and I put out the wrong bin last night (in spite of having it marked right on my calendar) .....and now see bin with the lid open filling with water - do they do that on purpose?

On the bright side, I plan to put the trellis back on the front porch wall where I painted yesterday, - under cover.

Morning all. It's still early here in Georgia US, but we are promised a sunny day. We are driving to Savannah later so hoping DGD will be on her best behaviour. She doesn't like her car seat one bit!

Poor you, Soutra, hope you feel better soon. Colds can make you feel so miserable.

Thistle - I'm with you on that one. We, too, find it stressful having house guests especially if they expect full on waitress service. Good luck with XSiL.

Good morning, it is another beautiful day. Last night was spectacular, the sky was absolutely clear and the aurora was very bright. DS was at Derwent reservoir and said he got some great photos, off to his flickr page too have a look.

Still sunny. Lovely neighbour, who was hoping to move today, now has to wait until April. Her loss is my gain for a few weeks!
