Today, I have to take DS's cat to the vet for the removal of his stitches and then go to the dentist as the last filling I had is still a bit high. Then, deep joy, a massive Sainsbury shop!

Good morning, one advantage of waking very early was a beautiful pink sky as the sun came up. Thanks to wise advice from Gransnetters I have abandoned for now searching for a house to buy and am going off to look at one to rent . It's several miles from here and in an area I don't really know but I thought it could be a Big Adventure to try out somewhere new for 6 months.

Good morning everyone. It looks dry and possibly bright as I gaze out of my window on Somerset. Good to see that the waters are receding on the Somerset Plains but the homeowners there have a long way still to go.

Good morning. I'm late posting but I have been up a good while - early enough to see the beautiful sunshine which appears to have disappeared now. Our trip to Weymouth yesterday was good. If anyone is wondering whether the south coast is ready for them, well, don't worry. The annual beach levelling was taking place, to leave the lovely expanses we are accustomed to and the beach shops were being erected ready for the season. There were a couple of hotels already open and buckets and spades freely available to buy!

Oh what a glorious day, it really seems Spring has arrived lots of daffs out, do hope we are not going to have one of those late bad weather spells we sometimes get just before or around Easter. Going out now just too good to waste this lovely weather sitting on a lap top.

Horses won't be the best at Wincanton as those will have been put away for next week! 'Still it's free entry.... so who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth (Pun intended)
