Indeed Ana sounds like the Wilson's have got a bit power crazy!
Lucky that Mr Koper worked for a newspaper so that this shoddy behaviour is exposed and can be discussed.
I know several excellent landlords who take their responsibilities as homeowners seriously but we all know there are a lot of landlords who only care about profit and not the community and can make life very difficult for their tenants..even the very good ones.

A return to the Rachmanism of the 1960s. No wonder people struggle so hard to own their own houses when faced with landlords like this.

The thing I found most concerning was, as the tenant said, in an area where one landlord owns 1000 rental properties, it is difficult to get a rented property for which he is not the landlord.

He has become almost a 'Lord of the Manor' and his tenants his serfs!

Are these the same people who a few years ago made headlines when the bottom fell out of the "buy to let" schemes ran by the banks I think they saved their empire by the skin of their teeth if they are the same people,so a bit of empathy wouldn't go amiss for their tenants I'm sure.Mind you he does look rather smug !!

If that is Wilson's brewery I can well believe it as I bought a Wilson's property which was in an unbelievable condition.

Hmm sounds like they don't warrant the benefit of the doubt when they say the eviction notice is coincidental as they are selling the property anyway.
