Good Morning Wednesday

Good morning, bright and breezy here. Need to re-stock fridge but not looking forward to moving around. I seem to have done something to one side of my chest and it is very painful when I breathe or bend. GD is very heavy and I am wondering whether I pulled an intercostal muscle when I was looking after her yesterday.

The chimney sweep is here as I write doing his stuff via my wood burner stove. So different from the sweep we had when I was young with his dirty face, big brush and bike parked at the door! This one is rather a dish and wears overalls (clean), has a great big vacuum cleaner on wheels (Henry) and seems well house trained. He sheeted up and away he went. £40 well spent I reckon!

Good morning everyone. Sunny with a light breeze here. An noisy start too as next door have decided to strim their drive so it wont be a fire risk. Made DH say he'd better do our verges but as he's gone to an extra Portuguese lesson and then we are going out to lunch, I don't think it will be today.

Lovely and bright at the moment, then sudden sharp showers, just as you thought you might get out..having the clips removed today (from knee) feeling very positive and in so much less pain than per op - it is amazing.

Off to Cornwall for a week to visit friends this afternoon. I hope the weather behaves itself. I have packed for all weather variations. I'm not good at travelling light!! See you all next week.

Mornin' All. Sort of sunny here but the forecast isn't good. We had hoped to go to our DSs tomorrow to help finish his patio but it looks like it's not going to happen. Still, forecasts have been wrong.
