Snow is a good insulator, rosequartz They say that when you are completely buried in a snowdrift you don't feel the cold at all after a while, and just drift off to a really good sleep . . .

Are you very big Rose? Just asking as I could do with a rosequartz ring to go with my pearls. The ones that are a long rope of three pearls the a rosequartz bead.

The pearl rope sounds lovely and a rosequartz ring would be lovely too. It is my birthstone.

Elegran, snow is indeed an excellent insulator. Up here in our mountains, houses have very wide lightly sloping rooves, so the snow does settle on top to insulate. We sometimes have up to 4 or 5' of snow on top- keeps us cosy.
