We have a thread in MNclassic thread about Pom bears served at a dinner party.

We have a little emoticon that looks like a pom-bear

We want to feel settled in and comfy before the great switch off. What would happen if at 6am when our delightful offspring wake us up we discovered there was some kind of complicatedness to get through before we could complete the registration here? With no coffee to help?

We also need to post a few posts tonight so that in the morning all we have to do is click "Threads I'm On" to get enough reading matter to help us come to terms with being awake.

Too many 'threads' there blush

I may have had a wine too many.

Ana Fri 10-Oct-14 23:26:51

Oh lord, I read the first page then realised there were 29 of them - too many to get through at this time of night! moon

I'm making sure I get a good seat. I think there is a coach load due in at 6am & I want to avoid the crush

Nelliemoser Sat 11-Oct-14 00:20:48

Well I keep off GN for a day and we are invaded by the kids.
They will be going through our kitchen cupboards looking for out of date food. wink
I don't want to know if my DD is on mumsnet and I have not told her I am on here. That way I can say what I think.
So what do you think of us so far have you explored other threads?
CBA with emoticons tonight I am using my Tablet in bed.

Oh you can swear then?

nocoolnamesleft Sat 11-Oct-14 07:18:06

Perhaps gransnet (grannet? granite?) should have held a referendum on letting us riffraff in...

JuniperTisane Sat 11-Oct-14 07:22:05

Rain has stopped. Child has become children. Guess I'm getting up then. On we go.

Mamie Sat 11-Oct-14 07:29:09

Yes am on Mumsnet and love it. So nice to see you all, it is normally quite lonely here at this time. grin
Am off to market soon (live in France). What fish shall I get for tonight? (Low-carbing).

TheHoneyBadger Sat 11-Oct-14 07:30:29

i don't know but could you pick up some garlic stuffed olives for me please mamie?

Mamie Sat 11-Oct-14 07:31:26

Of course. Though we are in Normandy so tripe and camembert is more likely.

Mamie Sat 11-Oct-14 07:37:52

Actually Mumsnetters, could you pop onto the Where Do You Wish You Could Shop thread and tell us what you think? We get these requests quite often and it is a bit frustrating.

CuttedUpPear Sat 11-Oct-14 07:41:07

<wanders in>

Ah! My spiritual home!

CuttedUpPear Sat 11-Oct-14 07:45:46

I like very much that the text box goes into LARGE print as you start to type into it.

<makes notes to feedback to MNHQ>

ohwhatjefferyisthis Sat 11-Oct-14 07:51:12

Bastard me old mucker. We are going to have to mind our language. (We inhabit a sweary thread-it's like the bit of Mn where naice people fear to tread)
Well I could be a Gran, except no one will procreate with my offspring. (In thing 2s case he would actually have to talk with a woman first)
Do you want a GN cat? I've got a spare? He's big and fat and ginger.

pompa Sat 11-Oct-14 07:51:50

Come on MNers, participate (or start new) in some of the existing threads, we would like to get your opinions on a variety of subjects. Leggings for instance grin

FruVikOla Sat 11-Oct-14 07:58:01

Good morning. Another MNer here. Thank you for having us.

CuttedUpPear Sat 11-Oct-14 08:00:03

I'm confused already.
Following the link from MN, it's taking me to 2 different threads.

Oh well, I'll just post on both and see what happens.
