multitasking!

Mr P has been known to have a conversation and look gorgeous (well, to me at least) whilst simultaneously cleaning the oven!

Tony Balir said the Labour Party could do it, so I'm sure we can manage.

pheonix the oven cleaning does interest me- how much do you charge to hire Mr. P out? Maybe that could be a sideline if times become hard?

Like Soutra I really would not be looking at or bothering who cleaned it.

My mother who taught me to score a house within an inch taught me to 'whistle and ride' always to have more than one job on the go.

My youngest DGS can multitask -he can pick his nose and suck his thumb at the same time! He's gorgeous to look at too!

My husband can watch one sport on the computer, another on the tv and listen to a third on the radio. If he does anything else, such as treating the garden fence he is unable to think about anything but that. My plants just get trodden on and destroyed.

Never mind multi-tasking. Just getting him to complete one task before moving on to the next one would be a miracle.

I'm just as bad though.

I only need to borrow him, not keep him - I can admire him whilst he cleans the oven.

DH won't clean the oven and I have been looking at him for over 40 years now

The odd thing about reading the paper and watching the tv at the same time is that I can often be reading a word in the newspaper (not a usual word like 'the') and someone on the telly says it at that exact moment.

Very odd phenomenon!

I can watch TV and ignore Mrs. P at the same time -- does that qualify as MTing.

The first time I really felt like a proper mummy was when I realised that I was changing absentdaughter's nappy with my right hand – a terry nappy that had to be folded properly – while talking on the telephone, holding the receiver to my ear with my left hand. I bet I couldn't do it with a grandchild.
