How much info do you tell about yourself on Facebook

I recently changed my information in my profile on Facebook , such as phone number and address and email details , Facebook is noted for hackers, and those unsolicited phone calls due to info you say about yourself on it.
The least you put on , you will or should not get harassed with phone calls you do not want.

I am finding that when I want some info and have to fill in details they won't accept that I don't have a mobile phone number and I can't get any further with my request..Is there one I could use?
