A nice cup of tea!

Reading the good cup of tea thread made me think about what we say, when getting older ( signs of ageing) as I actually said to Mr Roses yesterday when we got home from shopping " sit down and I'll make us a nice cup of tea!"

I love my cups of tea and my dil is the only family member who can make it the way I like it! it's the only thing she can do right at the moment!
I say to my gc that I've got "Nana legs" and need to sit down pronto!

I always put the milk in the cup first if I'm using a teapot but DH puts the tea in first.

Not sure which is right. Isn't it a throwback to when tea was drunk out of thin china which could be cracked by hot liquid?
