I don't know Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran or John Newman are. I thought that John Newman was the singer of 'Cars' but DH told me that was Gary Newman

I do listen to the radio kings but he hasn't been on desert island discs or you and yours!

This might be an old thread, and I had to Google Sam Smith, (none the wiser) but as he was in some way connected to the Bond films it seemed appropriate to revive this thread.

You are definitely getting old when the first James Bond celebrates his 90th birthday, but in your head he's always that suave, secret agent, 007.

I do know who Sam Smith is but I couldn't name any of his songs (I was going to put 'records' but that would date me I guess?)
What has troubled me is that at 72 I am only 18 years younger than Sean Connery - that doesn't seem much at all
