How much did the tooth fairy bring you?

I remember getting sixpence and counting myself lucky! Now apparently some kids are getting up to £10 a tooth. Tooth fairy must have been playing the lottery...

I think I either got 3d or 6d I can't remember!! My children got 20p. My step daughter got £1 (about 8years ago).
My Mum likes to tell the story of her youngest brother finding their Dad's full set of dentures (that he never wore) & putting them under his pillow for the tooth fairy. I don't think she came!!
