Morning Coffee Biscuits

Just a trivial matter I know, but what has happened to the delicious Morning Coffee Biscuits that used to be available? I love these crisp, plain biscuits, but have tried every shop and supermarket in my area (and we have a lot!)
Will be very sorry if they have been discontinued forever. sad

I used to like them too. According to my google search, it seems that only Morrison's are selling them now (they'll be their own brand, of course).

The original 'Nice' biscuits are impossible to find - the ones which are called 'Nice ' are too thick and not crispy enough.

The corner shop near to me sells Crawfords Morning Coffee.
They're as good as I remember them and don't collapse if you fancy a dunk.

Does anyone remember the really thin and crisp round biscuits that were golden brown with a narrow dark brown rim. Really liked those but not seen them for years.

Nothing tastes like it used to anymore. Jacobs Club biscuits used to be thick chocolate and a hard to find biscuit, now the chocolate is just thin enough to cover them, not nice at all now. And Wagon Wheels are less than half the original size.
Are Arrowroot biscuits still available?

AllieOxon if you know anyone that either lives in or visits Ireland they are available there . OH loves them and a lady he used to work with always brings him back some packets when she visits her family there..

I have alsobrew been hunting for morning coffee biscuits. I want them for use as my syns on Slimming world.
I think the supermarkets want us to buy the fancy expensive biscuits.

Morning coffee and arrowroot are still made by Crawfords and lincoln are still made by Jacobs.

Stop.......I have given up biscuits and chocolate for lent - not too worried about the chocolate, but what I wouldn't give for a biccie smile

My DH loves/ loved Fox's lemon puff biscuits, but I haven't been able to find them for ages.

AutieFlo Jacobs still make lemon puff's. Tesco and Asda still sell them.

Thanks Grannypiper, but I haven't seen them in our Tesco, and ASDA is too far for just biscuits. Mind you our Tesco, seems to randomly discontinue items, then if nobody complains, they are gone for good.
