I am so out of sorts with myself ( and other things) that I am also prepared to do the same. So easy for me as I NEVER join any contentious or political threads and I don't know the meaning of snide.
And who's going to be the judge, whitewave? That in itself could lead to no end of trouble...

I would like to make a suggestion
We have had some lively conversations (!) especially on the political threads recently and I for one am prepared to put my hand up to being critical 
intemperate even downright ratty
Reading about the many sadnesses and worries and problems which beset many of us makes me bl**dy grateful for what I have got.
So ......
I am suggesting, and I will do my very very best to stick to this, to be patient and nice and not rise to real or imagined criticism this Festive Season 
Who knows? I might even manage a New Year's Resolution along the same lines?
(sprouts in case anybody is wondering.)
