No Christmas spirit.

The last thing I want to do is to spoil any jollification for the millions and the many on here who just love Christmas. All good wishes to you and I really envy you , I wish it was me . But after a lifetime of disappointment, relieved only for the few years when my children were small and full of anticipation Christmas has not been a good time for me. I have enthused for the sake of others but it just hasn't done it for me. Am I on my own?

I am so sorry for those who will be sad . I have decided not to take part in any festivities, I will attend Mass and Matins , I love late Christmas Eve , there is something in the air and everywhere there is silence .

* anno* I hope my DD will find the fulfilment you found in her single status. She seems to be struggling to find a light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. Not helped by my GS having CFS and dreadfully depressed. He is 16 and we worry for his immediate future.
