It's gorgeous! ?

Baby elephants have to learn to control their trunks which have no bones, just over 40,000 muscles which is why we see their trunks waving all over the place! They even stand on them or trip over them which looks comical, but can be serious if they're running for safety. I always knew about the ears of African and Asian elephants being different, but not about the ends of their trunks. The end of an African elephant has 2 “fingers” and the Asian elephant has 1 “finger”. ?

I think the slope of the backs of African and Asian elephants are different.

Oooh! lots of differences. www.upali.ch/differences_en.html

I like the photo.

Did you or anybody else see the photos in the Daily Mail of the orangutan laughing at a joke with a cup and a disappearing nut he was watching at a zoo???

It's on u tube. PERHAPS SOMEBODY COULD PUT A LINK UP TO IT! It too is lovely and the human relationship is a joy to watch. The orangutan is adorable .
