Looking for some of these for my very thin OH who is already feeling the cold at night. I can find microfleece ones but I an after some really thick fluffy ones. Any ideas?

OH feels the cold and buys brushed cotton PJ's from Sainsbury they don't feel very thick but are soft and he says they are very warm.

Do you know anyone living in a cold country? Finland has excellent warm nightwear for example.
Alternatively, I wear a warm T shirt under my PJs and then bed socks with the trousers tucked in. I probably look daft but I'm warm!

Sounds very alluring Br0adwater!!

Ah, but on a cold night I don't want to look alluring!

Your best bet is probably Damart - try this link:

I like to sleep on top of the duvet. I wear fleece jogging bottoms with a Fred Perry style shirt. (style is a bit of a loose description, as most of the old shirts I sleep in have paint on them -- I know it's a sexy look ladies, but control yourselves.)

Oh wb what about the cold feet? confused

DaphneBroon Sun 20-Nov-16 18:40:46

I buy brushed fleecy pj's from good old M&S for DH.

Ah, I was hoping you wouldn't mention the walking socks.

hildajenniJ Sun 20-Nov-16 21:23:48

Would your DH like to try one of these. My son-in-law loves his!

Luckygirl Sun 20-Nov-16 22:27:31

Ah yes - I did look into those, but OH has PD and I think the struggle to locate the relevant organ with shaking hands when he gets up to the loo in the night might defeat him! - I would have to listen to a tirade of bad language emanating from the en suite!

Try velvety jogging suit plus bed socks!
Incidentally, the wearing of night caps like a large hat worn by Noddy! has completely died out BUT must have been of use during earlier colder times

I bought some fleecy pyjamas for my son in Primark. Black fleece trousers and fleecy green camouflage top. He usually wears a fleece onesie but likes these pyjamas.

Have you tried QVC, the shopping channel? I know they do loads of women's stuff. You can try them & send back in 60 days or by 31 Jan if they don't suit.

To you last 3 posters.
LOOK AT THE DATE OF OP.
On top of that I will inform you that sadly this lovely lady’s husband is no longer with us.

Try looking at jogging pants - Cotton Traders look nice, or base layers in Go Outdoors?
