I've been up since 5.30. No little ones, just could't sleep. It's windy but to dark to say much else. I'm on my second cuppa.

Morning all, i have been awake since 5.40am but refused to get up so made a cuppa and went back to bed and read for a while.

At 7am decided to get up as obviously not gonna be able to go back to sleep.

Have noticed there are lights on in the houses around me now especially those with children so Santa has been!!! lol.

A quite day on the cards for me and DH but family round tomorrow.

Good morning, it is mild and windy. Lazy morning planned, no Christmas dinner to prepare as we are just having brunch. No children in our street and Santa does not come to our house so all is quiet.

A small, preprepared turkey breast for us, though whether we are well enough to eat it is a different matter.

Good morning all. Awake just after 7.15. Nevotiated the stair gate and made a pot of tea. All is quiet, at the moment, but no doubt it will get noisier soon. Breakfast, then Church, then home to lunch and presents. Have a good day everyone.

Wild wind up here in Edinburgh. Haven't risked opening the curtains yet. Minimal presents exchanged with DH. Lunch at DDs later with the DGSs, DS and SiL (the chef!). Pretty lazy day for me anyway. Greetings to all.

Merry Christmas everyone. ?? The turkey is in the oven, the veg is prepared, I only have the potatoes to peel. My DD, SiL and four DGC are arriving at about 11:00am. My living room is awash with deliveries from Santa Claus. Ooh, it's so exciting, I feel like a little child again, a bit like Scrooge when he wakes on Christmas day. I haven't felt like this for years, Yipee.

Good Morning Christmas day from me. I woke up at a decent 8.30am not long followed by a phone call from DD sending good wishes before they went the 5 minutes round the corner to open their presents with their cousins.

I am still in my dressing gown. deciding whether or not to go for a walk now as OH CBA to get to bed or early enough to get up in the mornings.

I am having a nut roast at evening meal time. One mans roast is another woman's Sunday ruined It does not take long to cook anyway.

Enjoy your days - off to have breakfast now, a bit late, but the other half decided to get up and come and chat with me - most unusual, as he knows I like to sit and answer e-mails and gransnet!

A rare lie in and a cuppa brought up to me. Bliss. Just phoned the NZ faction. Lovely lazy day. No visitors, no presents, no hassle. Perfect peace.

Thinking of you and your turkeys my son (down south) has created this. He fancies himself as a chef.
He has boned all this and has stuffed various different birds inside each other. Using some surgical sewing technique on the way.
He is not a surgeon just a fiddle and brass playing software engineer.
