Twins' 80th

Are they male or female? And what sort of things are they interested in. You don't want it to be a generic "old person's" present

Sorry, I should have said they were both men which makes it even more difficult.I have only met them a handful of times so dont really know their interests apart from travelling.

Men are so difficult to buy for I find. It's OK if they've got a hobby (obsession!) Hasn't DH got any ideas?

Perhaps engraved hip flasks or leather wallets.

How small a present Greenfinch? Is a bottle of good Scotch each too pricey?
A bottle of a good wine? Of course you would need to find out that they do drink first.

We are going to a 60th this week and I got the birthday boy a voucher for a concert of his choice.

DD once gave us a theatre token which was quite good as we kept it till there was something we both wanted to go to.

If they enjoy travelling, how about a luggage strap wit initials or name woven in.

Something matching as they are twins. ? Photo frames (with photos of them together) ? Nice bottle of what they like to drink. Tough one.

Depends whether they are tired of being twins after 80 years.

You can buy Retro Birthday cards and other items(online) that show events/news from any date in the past , some are really good.so a Birthday card with news items from the year they were born may be an idea
