Recommend some stuff you like, or that does what it says on the tin.

Dove Nourishing Bodywash is very good, even the Bodach has been tempted to use it!
I also like Lidl's " Polish Taste" all purpose seasoning ( mostly salt and sugar, but has also herbs, spices, and dried vegetables).

What ( mibbe little known) things would you recommend?

Gordon's gin
Lindt 70% dark chocolate
Buckets of sauvignon blanc
South African Pinotage

I find these things do me lots of good

Is that what you meant? grin

£11 wine box from Asda.

Not little known, but I would recommend the following: (Note no booze mentioned!)

Oven Pride oven cleaner. It really does work as well as it claims on the pack.

My ceramic frying pan and saucepan.

GTECH cordless vacuum cleaner, hedge trimmer and grass strimmer.

I had to read the OP twice because I read it as polish with a small 'p', and didn't fancy the taste of it!

I also liked an all purpose mildly abrasive cleaner from Home Bargains, but can't see it on the webbie.

My Lakeland shower squeegee is fantastic. I live in a hard water area and had an almost daily battle with a white film covering the glass doors. Now a quick run over with the squeegee after a shower and hey presto - shiny glass

Large quantities of what Teetime said, plus
Dr Beckmann's colour and dirt catcher sheets for the washing machine,
Cuticura mildly medicated talcum powder;
Lakeland bamboo toast tongs.
