An Omega Chip?

Ok here's a completely theoretical question. If there was a chip you could have inserted that was programmed for some time in the future to give you a quick and painless death would you want one inserted? If you did get one what period would you want it set to? 5, 10, 15 or 20 years? And if you had one would you tell your children you had it?
Oh I know it's stupid and unlikely but sometimes I just think up these things.
I think I might have one but I can't decide between 15 or 20 years.

Omg I don't want a time span but I do the want the quick painless death. I'd hate to feel the clock ticking away. What if you said 20 years but at 19 years 11 months you weren't ready to die. Could you have it removed or would you have to die anyway?

Haven't decided about that vampirequeen it would seem to be something you might want. Maybe we should have one that you could self activate even if you were getting unable to use other methods.

I thought the OP meant that someone had invented a potato chip full of omegas 3 and 6 that is good for you.

No, for the same reason as vq if it had a set time limit.
