My Husband and I were at Earls Court in 1976 when it was bombed.
We were so very lucky in that we had already gone up the escalator just before the bomb went off. I will NEVER forget the fear, and more importantly, the smell of the bomb. It will live with me forever. I remember thinking that we would never get out in one piece.
The latest attacks bring it all back to me.
My family all have the opinion that we must not let them win, and as such we must carry on as normal.
I have tried telling them what I have been through, but to no avail.
How do I tell my family that I do not want to go for a visit ?
I am scared, and I admit it.
