An American friend calls duct tape Jesus tape because it cam fix anything.

We have replaced WD40 with a silicone spray designed to do the same jobs. Cleaner and doesn't smell.

But quite agree, both are indispensable we have them in our cars as well as in the house

Duct tape gets rid of warts I used it on mine . Will try wd on my pots outside thanks for tip.

Hooty, sorry to be slow responding. I had to check it. Ours is called Tech 9 and we bought it in France. When I googled it I found that Halfords stock something similar.

You need to be careful how you word your enquiry. Even when I typed in 'Tech 9 professionals silicon lubricant UK' I got adverts for lubricants for use other than in technical situations!!

I once read a book on natural history by Bill Oddie. He warned not to try googling Wild Life because it brought up some quite surprising sites!
