Would you let your 25 year-old son see you naked?

Good heavens no! I respect his sensibilities far too much for that.

Seriously think my son 40 would run out screaming if he saw me naked ??. So to your question NO I wouldn't .

I guess she hasn't suddenly started revealing her aging body to her son.
If it's always been normal in her household, there's no problem.

I haven't even seen myself naked for years! So, no, I wouldn't. I'm sure her son will have fun discovering what real women look like. To each their own though.

FarNorth yes this is a good point. Though I have always felt that there is a certain point when walking around in front of your children of the opposite sex doesn't feel appropriate.

I dont have a son, but if i did, definitely not, but if, as far north says, it has been normal practice then its probably not a problem.
We do seem to be more prudish in this country, certainly in europe, esp.germany, where people strip off happily. I know its mixed sexes and naked in most spas. I avoid for that reason, so be prepared if you go to a spa there. .....

I've never been much of a one for going about in the nuddy, even at home alone. Its how I was bought up, I think.

Yes maybe we are more prudish here. Personally I think there is a fine balance between being at ease and unashamed of one;s body and a certain amount of personal privacy.

Haha!! If I did that to my 45year old son, he would be running for the hills, never to be seen again, well after he had made sure I was securely locked up, I wouldn't want to see him in the altogether either

I remember a friend of mine went round to her mums house, knocked, and couldn't get a reply. She looked through the letter box just as her brother walked up to the door naked before putting a towel around his waist. She was quite traumatised!

No I wouldn't, I'm far too prudish and self-conscious, but I rather wish that my general attitude was as relaxed as our Scandi friends who have been used to being open in that way due to nude sunbathing etc.

No problem as I see it. If he is used to that as part of their normal family life, then I can see that it makes sense not to start covering up just because her body is aging.

I find this strange, as she once said on loose women that she always undressed in the dark in front of her husband

Having said that my son who lives with me at the moment often goes to the bathroom naked, usually half asleep, then dashes for something to put on,
I always say I have seen it all before then he says not lately though
I try to unsee what I have seen

To explain how it works for us in Europe. We did go around naked when the children were young but stopped when they reached their teens. Now that they are grown up, we don´t, as a rule, prace around in the altogether. Though our bathroom has no lock, when the door is closed, you assume someone is in there. You shout and ask if it´s OK to come in. If you come across a member of the family walking across the hallway in the nude or just covered in a towel, you avert your eyes. That´s all there´s to it. We don´t make a big thing of being seen in the nude but don´t go out of our way to flaunt it.

I think my son is embarrassed enough just having me as is mother; perish the thought that he should ever have to look at the baggy, wrinkled, unclothed me. He would be completely traumatised! What a weird thing to do!

Definitely NOT - but my daughters never see me naked either. I am not big on walking around naked even when I am home alone...............It's not a pretty sight!

My son isn't 25 but no, I wouldn't. His embarrassment at any age above about 8 would be far greater than mine!
