Good Morning to you all. Not been in for a while as have been a bit poorly, and now to add insult to injury, I have a cold, but that is small beer. So if I don’t acknowledge all previous posts, I hope I will be forgiven. I will just say how pleased I am that Ann’s DH is making some progress.
We had the Prince of Pandemonium from Sunday until yesterday, but he was, like N&G’s lovely Laura, No Trouble at All! We took a short cut through the railway station on Monday to get to the cinema, and he got very excited when he saw several members of Sheffield Wednesday’s first team in the concourse, on their way to catch a train down to London. I suggested that if he went and asked politely they would probably give him an autograph or two, especially as he has a season ticket, but when it came to doing the deed, he was paralysed with awe and backed out, bless him. Then he spent the whole afternoon beating himself up about being so silly and missing the chance. Hey ho! Last year, he wouldn’t have hesitated but the older he gets, the more reticent he is becoming. Par for the course, I suppose.
Hairdressers for me today, though I could do with staying home, but I look pretty scary (or more scary than usual) at the moment so need tidying up.
I will try and look in later.
